Coffee from Colombia
Discover the richness of taste and aroma coffee from Colombia, originating from the Popayan region, the capital of the state of Cauca, located in the southern part of the country. It is here, on the plateau where the Andes mountain range reaches Colombia from Ecuador, that the Popayan coffee is grown.
JOURNEY FROM EL GATO
El Gato in Popayan
We visited Popayan in 2017. The city is incredibly charming. Often called the "white city", it is characterized by colonial architecture equipped with a multitude of white building facades.
Cauca
Grain processing
Thanks to the special combination of soil conditions, altitude and washing process, coffee from this region is distinguished by its beautiful aroma, medium acidity and full taste. All these features create an amazing bouquet of flavors that melts delightfully in the mouth, leaving a sweet aftertaste of chocolate combined with fruits such as papaya or tangerine.
We combine knowledge with passion
Hundreds of customers have already trusted us. Our adventure with coffee began with the first cupping in Costa Rica in 2015 and continues to this day...
