This coffee is an effect our journey to remote Gaitania located in the Tolima department of Colombia. Beautiful landscapes, excellent taste of coffee and wonderful people charmed us so much that we decided to share the results of their work with you. The beans come from the indigenous "Nasa Wesx" community of Gaitania, also living in the departments of Cauca, Huila and Tolima.

The Tolima region of Colombia is a picturesque and fertile place, appreciated for the exceptional quality of the coffee grown there. Surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Andes, Tolima offers ideal conditions for growing coffee: abundant rainfall, a uniform climate and an altitude of over 1200 meters above sea level, which translates into slower ripening of the beans and a deeper, more complex flavor.

Their deeply rooted traditions and respect for the land have a huge impact on the way coffee is grown. Nasa Wesx are guardians of the earth who have passed on the knowledge of growing, harvesting and processing coffee for generations, which makes each cup of Gaitania a unique experience.
