A unique Ethiopian coffee of the botanical variety 74148. The beans come from a group of about 250 farmers who deliver their harvest to the Ayla Shantawene washing station. The coffee is grown exceptionally high, because at an altitude of up to 2150 m above sea level the grains are dried African beds for 30 days, acquiring a unique taste and aroma.

Our coffee is the result of 250 years of work local farmers from Shantawene village. Hand-picked coffee cherries are sent to the Ayla Shantawene processing station, where they undergo careful selection and natural drying for 30 days on special, airy tables. This is a process that extracts depth of taste and a characteristic fruity sweetness.
